Overview
Prakash Chourasia is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia State University, advised by Dr. Murray Patterson. His research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Federated Learning, Representation Learning, Kernel Methods, Algorithms, Bioinformatics, Drug Discovery, and Health Data. His current research focuses on developing ML/AI techniques in bioinformatics.
Prakash has over 5 years of industry experience as a Software Engineer at companies like Amerisave Mortgage Corporation and InComm. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, India.
Research
Prakash’s research focuses on applying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to solve problems in bioinformatics, drug discovery, and health data. His work includes developing efficient algorithms, representation learning methods, and federated learning approaches for biological sequence analysis and classification.
